For my stay in Hirikityia to start surfing, I didn't want to be in the tourist area near the beach but rather a little further away.
It was a complete success.
The homestay is just a 12-minute walk from the beach.
The accommodation is located in the house of a charming and very friendly family.
The area is residential on a road perpendicular to the main road.
You go up a spiral staircase.
There is a pleasant terrace with a view of the coconut trees, you enter a kitchen furnished and equipped with the main things to cook and a refrigerator.
The room is spacious, with a large bed, mosquito net, fans.
The private bathroom separated by a glass partition is spacious and the water has good pressure.
Good quality/price ratio.

I would have loved to have salt and oil for my salads but I think they are going to add it.
